Method

Grease gem irons and heat in oven.
Beat butter, Chelsea White Sugar and egg together until creamy.
Add milk and then flour sifted with salt. Mix thoroughly.
Drop mixture into gem irons, filling about 3/4 full.
Bake in oven preheated to 200oC for 7 to 10 mins.
Serve with home made jam of your choice and cream
