  • 3 medium size potatoes
  • Small quantity of milk
  • 3 Tbsp plain flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp butter

To serve

  • Chelsea Easy Pour Golden Syrup
  • Pecans

Method

Cook the potatoes until soft, drain and mash with a little milk. Let cool.
Add the flour, salt and pepper and nutmeg and mix well together.
Add the eggs, one at a time, blending well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream.
Heat the butter in a heavy frypan and drop in the batter in tablespoons, giving enough room to spread. Turn over to brown on each side.
Serve with pecans and Chelsea Easy Pour Golden Syrup.
